Does a college student who works meet the special conditions of low income credit

Are you asking if your college student can get earned income credit?  If you are claiming him as a dependent---no---dependents do not get EIC.

Please clarify what low income credit are you referring to? Is it the Earned Income Tax Credit?

If you're asking about a state credit, identify the state.

 

General rule: no, dependents and full time students don't qualify for state low income credits.  And, frequently child dependents are another requirement.
