Does a full-time student for 5 months include 1 erm?

I signed up for classes for fall 2021. Which was from Aug 23 to Dec 10. Which is one term. Will that include being a full-time student for 5 months since the months do not have to be consecutive?

Yes, you are considered to be a full-time student for five months.
