Does it mean high school or college when it asks if i went to another school in year xxxx?

If you are in the Education / Form 1098-T section in the program, it refers to college or university.  In

 

In order to qualify for an education tax break at the federal level, you must have attended an eligible educational institution.  An eligible educational institution is generally any accredited public, nonprofit, or proprietary (privately owned profit-making) college, university, vocational school, or other postsecondary educational institution.

 

Also, the institution must be eligible to participate in a student aid program administered by the U.S. Department of Education. Virtually all accredited postsecondary institutions meet this definition. An eligible educational institution also includes certain educational institutions located outside the United States that are eligible to participate in a student aid program administered by the U.S. Department of Education.

If you attended a high school instead, there are no benefits you can claim at the federal level on Form 1040.  However, there might be some tax breaks at the state level.  Check your states at: Department of Revenue -States
