Yes, as long as you intend to return home after school has been completed.

    Q. Does living at college for the entire year and never living at home count as a temporary absence?

    A. Yes, unless there are unique circumstances. An "away at school" student is still a resident of his previous abode, unless he takes concrete steps to establish a new residence. As the other reply said, "intent" is a significant factor. Considered still living at home, is particularly important if your parent claims you as a dependent.
