Does the dual enrollment 1098T override the 4 year college 1098T if my child graduated high school and started college in the same year?

I entered the four year college 1098T and the credit applied. The dual enrollment 1098 T indicates not at least half time student. We paid no money for the dual enrollment class, but Turbo Tax reduced my total refund 50%.

You are not required to enter a 1098-T that reports education that was exactly covered by a scholarship or similar unless the scholarship or grant exceeded the cost of the education.

If you did not pay for the dual enrollment class, don't report the 1098-T. You have no obligation to report it.
