Education expenses

I inadvertently added 2018 year's information for education expenses. I have no expenses  for 2019. I did the Federal Review which brought it my attention as I failed to populate a field, I then tried to erase all my records but remain, I even tried to override with blanks and zero  but it keeps telling me I have error and cannot override fields as I need to electronically file this return. How do I successfully remove all records from this return. I also thought by deleting the Education Expense Worksheet form that this might eliminate all data pertaining to this section, but alas no!

Can anyone assist in helping remove all records?

Yes, you have the right idea to delete the education credit related forms.

All related education forms need to be deleted to fully remove it from your return.

I recommend double clicking on Open Forms and typing in Education to see if any forms related to education are left. Also included could be Form 1098-E and Form 1099-Q. When the worksheet or form is then opened, delete it there.

I would also save, close the program completely and wait a minute after deleting before re-opening.

Also, be sure your program is fully updated by checking for updates by going to Online or Help, depending on your level of TurboTax CD/Download, and clicking Check for Updates.

Please check that your device meets system requirements.
