Employer Tuition Reimbursement

Entering all of my education information to qualify for the American Opportunity Credit, and after entering my 1098-T it asks  "Did you receive any financial aid not reported on a 1098-T"

Am I supposed to say yes and include the amount my work reimbursed me, even if under the $5250? This is unclear.

    Q. Am I supposed to say yes and include the amount my work reimbursed me, even if under the $5250?

    A. Yes.  Any employer reimbursement under $5250 is tax free.  As such, you may not count, for the American Opportunity Credit,  the portion of your tuition paid by (or reimbursed by) employer assistance.
