First time filing taxes. I'm on the education step, entered my tuition and financial aid. I'm not sure what to do for "Did you pay for books or materials to attend school"

For my education expenses, do I include my tuition cost? My tuition for the year was $15k, including financial aid. Should I include this $15k along with books, supplies, and equipment spent on education?

No, the tuition on your 1098-T will be added by the program. You only want to enter additional expenses.

Qualified education expenses paid on behalf of the student by someone other than the student (such as a relative), are treated as paid by the student.
