Question

For the SC tuition tax credit, do I just need to put tuition for the elligible tuition spot or does this include books, fees, etc.?

This is what the instructions for the SC tuition tax credit form says about what to enter for tuition:

 

Qualified tuition is the amount charged by a college or university as a condition of enrollment and includes required fees. The cost of dorm rooms, books, and meals are not included in tuition.
