Foreign Dividends and Taxes paid
I received foreign dividends on three individual securities and one emerging market mutual fund. I entered the total foreign dividends received and then was asked to identify the source - either "RIC" or "Other". I need to enter information for three different countries however I can only choose one country when I click on "Other". The TurboTax representative I spoke with said to click on "RIC" and not to worry about entering information for the individual securities. Just want to confirm with the community that this is the correct approach.
