Form 8863 has my college listed twice under slightly different names with line 3 answered Yes in one box and No in other box

My college is listed twice on form 8863 with different answers on line 3

    I suggest you delete Form 8863 and Form 1098-T in your program if the program is doubling the expenses you can claim for an education credit. 

     

    Close out, return and try entering ONLY ONE form 1098-T. 

     

    If the program picks up two 1098-T forms and doubles the expenses, that could cause issues down the line. You might get a credit that you're not eligible for.
