form 8880How do I override form 8880 full time student question to get savers credit? full time student for 5 months. Then not a student for 7 months

I should be able to get american opportunity credit for when i was student. Then savers credit for 7 months I wasn't. TT not letting me do both

If you were a full tine student for the year you cannot qualify for the Saver's Credit. It looks at the entire tax year.

You can not override it. Being a FT student for 5 months disqualifies you for the savers credit for the entire year.

For tax purposes, the definition of Full Time Student include the (parts of) 5 months requirement.
