When I answer the question "Did you have any higher education expenses in 2019?" I answered "Yes" because I have a form 1098-T that I need to enter because I paid tuition. After clicking "Yes" I on the page that asks "Tell us about your educational plans" The only two questions on this page have to do with If I am a beneficiary on an ESA or Did I receive a Form 1099-Q ? The answers to both were "No". Which brings me to the page "Now Let's Gather Your Additional Educational Expenses." No where am I able to enter info for my Form 1098-T. When I proceed to the next page it says that I have no tuition expenses. What is the problem?

Go back to the Federal section of the program.

To enter your 1098-T information:

Go to the Federal section of the program
Select "Deductions & Credits"
Select "Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)" and click start
Select Edit to review your information for the 1098-T

Education expense input

Continue through the screens and answer the questions as applicable. TurboTax will determine which credit you qualify for based upon your answers.

If you have entered additional expenses that are not on the 1098-T, please be sure to add those on the following page under "Other Education Expenses".
