Question

Hey, I was a full time student 2016 and 2017 and I did not file for the education credit for those years, can I claim it this year?

I also graduated already so I'm no longer a current student

Were you anyone else's dependent in those tax years?  If so, the person who claimed you was the one who could get the education credits.  Dependents cannot get education credits.  If no one was claiming you then you can amend those tax returns and see if you can get education credits that you forgot to take.

You cannot get the 2016/2017 education credits on your 2019 tax return.
