Question

How can I enter a partial college payment? I split cost with ex spouse. I seem to only able to enter full amount by adding form 1098

Only the parent who qualifies to claim the student as their dependent, and actually does claim that student as their dependent, can claim the education expenses, regardless of which parent actually paid those expenses.
