How do I enter mortgage interest less than $600 and no Form 1098 with TurboTax Deluxe 2024 Desktop?

I have the information to enter my mortgage interest. I know I can enter the information if I go through the prompts as if I received a 1098, but the mortgage interest then does not show up under 8b on Schedule A. (It shows under 8a ) Is there a way to get it to show up under 8b which is specifically for when no 1098 was received?

Mortgage interest that is not on a Form 1098 and is not from a seller-financed mortgage can only be entered in forms mode. Forms mode is only available in the desktop TurboTax software, not in TurboTax Online. In forms mode, enter the interest directly on Schedule A line 8b. Do not use the Home Mortgage Interest Worksheet. When you enter it this way, TurboTax will not calculate any limits that might apply to the deduction, but if $600 is your only mortgage interest the limits are not going to be a problem for you.

Thanks. That makes sense. I couldn't see a way for the interview questions to properly address my situation.
