To remove the Lifetime Learning Credit from your tax return you need to delete the actual 8863 Form. How do I remove the Lifetime Learning credit so I don't have to pay Turbo Tax Deluxe? I already removed the education portion and do not have forms 8863 and form 1098-T

I do not have the 8863 form. I already deleted that. I have the 8862 form. Does that one have to do with the Lifetime Learning credit?

You need to complete Form 8862 and attach it to your tax return if:

Your earned income credit (EIC), child tax credit (CTC)/additional child tax credit (ACTC), credit for other dependents (ODC) or American opportunity credit (AOTC) was reduced or disallowed for any reason other than a math or clerical error.
You want to take the credit(s) and meet all the requirement
