how do you get turbo tax to let you put the education expenses on the TurboTax form?

In either case, go to Federal Taxes > Deductions & Credits. If you are asking about tuition for a student, scroll down to the Education section. Click the Start button for "Expenses and Scholarships." If you are asking about the educator expenses deduction, scroll down further to the Employment Expenses section, almost at the bottom of the page. Click the Start button for "Teacher (Educator) Expenses."
