How to file my 1042-S form

I am a F1 visa holder considered as a resident alien for tax purposes. Therefore, I cannot use Sprintax but Turbotax. However, Turbotax does not include the 1042-S form. I found this reply online. Nevertheless, it is not clear how to deduce the federal tax withheld in my 1042-S.

Thank you!

Yes, if you are on your 6th year on the F1 visa and met the Substantial Presence Test then you will be considered a resident and can file with TurboTax.

Please follow these steps to enter your taxes withheld:

  1. Click on "Search" in the top right and enter "estimated tax payments"
  2. Click the "Jump to" link
  3. Scroll down to "Other Income Taxes Paid in 2021
  4. Click "Start" next to "Withholding not already entered on a W-2 or 1099"
