How would I send tuition amount to my parents living outside of Canada

Hello,

I'd like to transfer tuition (from universities in Canada) to my parents but I just don't know how it will work since my parents are not living in Canada. I haven't seen any questions regarding this on my Turbotax tax filing page. Will there be further instruction from CRA on how to do it?

If your parents are filing a Canadian tax return for 2019, then you will be able to transfer the tuition amount to them. Otherwise, you have to claim the amount or carry it forward.
