I am being asked for a 1098. I don't have a 1098 for 2019 or 2020? What is this for? Wasn't this done years ago?

TurboTax Premier Online

A Form 1098 (without any letters) is the form sent by lenders to report mortgage interest paid by a borrower. If you do not have any and cannot skip the questions return to Deductions & Credits, the Mortgage Interest and click on the trash can icon beside any listed forms to remove them.
