Question

I am entering 1098 from a vacation resort, I put it as a normal loan but I think the reason it keeps saying needs review is cause its too low?? should it be ok?

When entering morgage intetrest on the form, aside from Box 1. Box 2 & Box 3 must  be filled.  Otherwise, it will not finalzed your income tax return.  You can also do a Federal Review:

  1.  Click Federal Review located on the upper right hand side of the screen .
  2. Click review to each details ,and it will take you to form 1099.
  3. You do the same on your state income tax. 
  4. When done fixing, go back to Federal Review to check if the returns are ready to be e-filed.
