Question

I am married filing jointly in GA. 529 limit is $8,000 per beneficiary (I have three). but Turbo Tax limits me from entering more. How do I get the maximum credit?

I contributed the max ($24,000) but am limited to enter only $8,000.

Looks like this may be a bug in the Georgia state program that is incorrectly limiting you to only enter the maximum amount for one beneficiary when you are filing as Married Filing Jointly.

I will report this to the TurboTax Moderators of this forum.  If it is incorrect then program will be updated with the current per beneficiary calculation as soon as possible.
