Question

I attended college from January 1-April 30th 2021, and graduated in May 2021. Do I count as a "full-time student in 2021?"

No. According to the IRS, full-time students are children under the age of 19 or adults under the age of 24 who attend an educational program at least five months per calendar year.

I'm of the opinion that graduation day being in May qualifies as being in attendance in May, so the 5 month rule is met.  But, I cannot quote an authoritative source.
