Question

I did not generate a 1098 T form because everything was covered. Where do I put student loans, under the tuition category or the grants/scholarships category?

You don't enter the amount of  student loans, at all.  What you enter is the expenses that you paid, regardless of the source of the money.

A.  Simple answer: yes. In the tuition category put the total amount of tuition and fees paid, whether paid by loans, scholarships/grants or out of pocket.
