According to Turbo Tax I should qualify for these credits but it is saying I do not.

We cannot see your tax return so we do not know if you did something incorrectly or just do not qualify for an education credit.   If you are someone else's dependent or if you are filing married filing separately you will not get an education credit.

If you really do qualify, you've answered something wrong in the interview. But many people just don't qualify, particularly students who qualify as dependents or are under 24 (even if not a dependent).
