Question

I don't have a 1098-T. How do I enter for school deductions off of the tuition I paid out of pocket?

Why don't you have a 1098-T?   You can only deduct tuition paid to an eligible educational institution.    An eligible educational institution is required to issue a 1098-T.    Contact the school for a copy.

There are some circumstances where a 1098-T does not need to be issued but in those cases there is nothing for you to deduct.
