I entered the wrong number for expenses and scholarships. I can't correct it and turbotax seems unable to forget the incorrect number. I've tried deleting form 1098-t

If you have already filed, you cannot return to the program to edit the information. You might need to amend later.  Please write back to clarify.

If you have not filed, I would suggest you delete both the Form 1098-T and the tax form 8863 Education Credits and re-enter your information. In TurboTax online, here are the steps:

1.  Sign in to your account, select Pick up where you left off

2.  To your left, Select Tax Tools/drop-down menu

3.  Select Tools

4.  Under Other helpful links, choose to Delete a form

5.  Select Delete next to Form 8863 and 1098-T and Continue with My Return to proceed
