I got my taxes done somewhere else does that affect this if I’m not finished with it?

If you had your taxes prepared and e-filed through another tax service you do not need to complete your taxes with TurboTax,

 

If you just had the return prepared and have not yet mailed in the return to the IRS, you can complete the return in TurboTax and e-file your return through TurboTax.

 

If you are not finished with your return at the other tax service, you can complete the return in TurboTax and e-file the return.
