I had to pay for two of my college classes during 2016 in addition to student loans. Do I get tax credit for that and where do I add it?

You may get a deduction or credit for it. The American Opportunity Credit requires you to be at least a 1/2 time student. There is no such requirement for the Lifetime Learning Credit. When you get your 1098-T, enter it into TurboTax and you'll be guided through determining what if any credits or deductions you qualify for.
