I have a driver's license from NH, but needed to get a NC resident ID card for graduate school. Which state is used for federal filing?

I had to get a NC Resident ID Card due to my graduate school needing residency.  I still have an active NH drivers license.  Where I have my NH drivers license can I still file federal taxes with NH or does it need to be with NC instead?  I have income from both states.

You will use your New Hampshire driver's license, even though you are filing two state tax returns.
