I have not filed since 2012. i have multiple w2's, a few 1099's, canadian t4's, and a 1098-E student loan interest statement.

i have not filed since 2012. i have multiple w2's, a few 1099's, Canadian t4's, and a 1098-E student loan interest statement. how should i approach filing using turbotax online?

You cannot file past returns online or e-file.   TurboTax only supports the past 3 years (2014-2016) desktop products.   You cannot get a refund for any tax year before 2014 since the statute of limitations for refund has expired.

You might be better off seeing a tax professional for the past returns particularly if you owe back taxes.

You can purchase 2014-2016 software here but might be able to find it cheaper  elsewhere.
