Question

I keep getting an error for filer's zip code on 1098 T from American Military University, except that's the number listed on it

So if this is the correct zip code as listed on the 1098T why am I getting this error as showing as not valid for e-filing? Nothing I can do to change it, how do I proceed with electronic filing?

I had the same problem. You have to make sure that the state is correct. I had to go all the way back to where I could edit and change the state.
