I'm not being prompted to enter 529 contributions for Illinois for 2023. Where can I find this?

I know IL allows for this deduction, but I can't seem to find it anywhere this year.

There is no federal deduction for making a contribution to a 529 plan.

Some states allow a deduction on the state return. If your state is one, it will come up in the state interview; usually in the "Here's how (your state) handles income differently" section. I'm not familiar with the IL software, so it may be somewhere else, but, it's there.

For Indiana it’s at credits and taxes.
