That is fine. The student question is geared toward college education credits. If you said yes, the software would navigate you to stuff about college and tax documents from college, etc. which you might not be ready for yet.

If you were over 18, on 12-31-24, it may matter. It may affect whether you can be claimed as a dependent or not. The follow up questions, generated by TurboTax can depend on that answer. If you checked the box that said you can be claimed as a dependent by someone else, the student question will most likely not change anything.
