Question

I need help answering this question. My loan was bought by another company summer 2024. Only got 1 1098. Is it Yes or no?Is this 1098 the most recent for your loan?

Not sure if I should be answering Yes or No to the Is this 1098 the most recent for your loan question. I only have 1 1098 from my current mortgage company who bought my previous loan. The interest matches what I paid throughout 2024.

    If the total interest matches your expense for the entirety of 2024, you should just report the one you received.  Answer "Yes" this 1098 is the most recent, since it is from your current lender.
