Question

I paid for my son's college expenses. Can I add his 1098-T to my taxes or does he have to claim it on his?

If your son is your dependent, you are the one who claims the tuition credit. In that case, yes you do enter his 1098-T, on your tax return.

He does not enter the 1098-T on his return, unless his scholarships exceed his qualified expenses.
