Solved

I paid my tuition expendes that were billed to me, but it does not show up on the 1090-T form in Box 1. How do I go about claiming that?

If it is reported in Box 2, you do not need to adjust the enty. If you paid a different amount than what was billed, enter the 1098-T as the school reported it, but click on the "What if this is not what I paid?" link under Box 2 and enter what was paid. Used your school account records and keep a copy of this statement with your tax file.
