I was in school from August 19- December 19. 2019. Am I considered a full-time student?

Yes, you probably are, but check the definition below to be certain.

 

Full time student for tax purposes means that you attended school at least half-time, as defined by your school, during five months of the tax year. August through December meets the five months requirement. 

 

If you aren't certain whether you are at least half-time, check your 1098-T form. Box 8 will be checked if you are considered at least half-time.
