You do not mention whether you are being claimed as a dependent on a parent's tax return.   In general, if you are a college student who is living away from home for school, you are considered to be "temporarily absent" from your parents' state, and are still a resident of that state.   But...why are you asking?   Did you earn money in the state in which you attend school?   Or did you earn income in the state in which your parents live?
