Question

If I received a refund from the Pell Grant and I did not use it for school, how would I input that as income?

    Go to Deductions and Credits

    Scroll down to Education

    Select "Expenses and Scholarships (Form 1098-T)"

    You have to go through this interview as if you are entering a 1098-T but answering NO to almost all question (unless you DO have a 1098-T and wish to enter that) (If you DID enter a 1098-T previously, select EDIT) 

    As I said, if the ONLY thing you want to enter is the Pell Grant, you have to go through the interview until you get to the screen asking about additional aid 

     

    It will be listed on Schedule 1 Line 8r
