If I received two 1098-T forms because I took classes at two colleges, how do I insert the information for both?

I took classes at my community college and University at the same time and would like to submit my forms for both schools showing the tuition I paid.

You can enter both forms 1098-T on your tax return.

 

Please note that you can only claim your education credits if you are not claimed as a dependent by your parents.

 

If they claim you as a dependent, only they can claim your education credits.

After completing the first 1098-T interview, TT will ask if you attended another school. Answer yes and you'll be presented with a 2nd interview.  TT will use the amounts on both forms to calculate your credit.
