Question

If my 529 distributions, earnings, and basis are correct but Fidelity says they aren't in balance what should I do?

I am not sure what your'e referring to by saying they aren't in balance. Call up Fidelity and ask them what they mean.

If you mean TurboTax is saying the earnings and basis aren't adding up to the distribution amount; it's a rounding error.  At the 1099-Q screen change the basis so that it balances on rounding.  The basis is not used in any calculations.
