If my taxes were taken for student loans will my cares act money be direct deposit or what do I do?

No, offsets for child support are the only ones that will be take from the stimulus payments.

Will I get it through direct deposit or have to wait for a paper check?

If you had direct deposit listed on your tax return, the stimulus check will be deposited that way. 

The IRS is launching a website "Get Mt Payment" where you can track your stimulus payment. Please see the link below:
