If the student has graduate degree but is changing careers and is taking undergraduate classes are those classes tax deductible?

    There is not an exclusion for someone who already has a graduate degree as long the degree they will be getting from their current enrollment is ONLY going to lead to a bachelors and nothing more. 

    Only expenses for undergraduate enrollment or attendance qualify. Expenses for enrollment or attendance in a course of study leading to the granting of a postbaccalaureate (for instance, a master’s degree) or other graduate degree do not qualify
