    Yes, there are income limits for 1099-T.  To claim the full credit, your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) must be $80,000 or less for single filers or $160,000 or less for married filing jointly.

    Yes, there are income limits for claiming an education credit.   To claim the full credit, your modified adjusted gross income (MAGI) must be $80,000 or less for single filers or $160,000 or less for married filing jointly. The phaseout range is $80,000 to 90,000 ($160,000 to 180,000 Married filing jointly). 

     

    For the Lifetime Learning Credit, that limit is for 2021 only. It will be less in 2022 and was less before 2021.

    OP means 1098-T, not 1099-T.
