Question

Is anyone else having trouble entering 1098-T info? When I start it, it goes straight to books and materials expenses but won’t let me enter my tuition.

From the page that says Now Let's Gather The Additional Education Expenses

Hit Continue.

You will need to continue through several screens until you get to the screen that says

Your Education Expenses Summary click Edit

At Here's Your Education Summary you can Edit, Delete or Add New School

Mine is doing the same thing. When you get to the edit option it still skips right to the books option. Never gives the option to enter tuition expenses.

Finally found the right edit button. All good now.

I have been fighting this for 2 hours. Finally went into Forms mode and entered the numbers on the Form directly Do not like doing that, but I finally got it entered. Tried using the hint from Turbo Tax about jumping to the form, but could not get it to work.

@LindaC14 now that you have it entered, go through in the "step by step" and make sure to cancel any overrides in the forms mode.
