Question

Is it necessary for me to put my 1098-E info on my taxes if I won’t get deductions?

I paid 0$ a month on my loan since I’m in this loan forgiveness program, paying 0$ a month wouldn’t change my return.

Yes. If there's an amount in box 1 of your form 1098-E, you are required to report.  You were credited with paying interest, even if it was only  added to your loan balance.  The student loan interest is technically an an adjustment to income, not a deduction.  As such, you are not allowed to not claim it  increase you EIC
