Is there a glitch with the American Opportunity Credit not identifying information that was previously entered that specifically states that I was a full-time student?

Your Education Expenses Summary names the college

No glitch. You enter your full time student status in the personal info section.  It has to be entered again in the education section, where  You'll be given a choice of:

  • Full time
  • Half time or more
  • Less than half time

Go through the entire education interview until you reach a screen titled "Your Education Expenses Summary".  Click edit next to the student's name. That should take you to a screen “Here’s your Education Summary”. Click edit next to “Education Information”.
