Question

It says I need to upgrade to TurboTax Deluxe because I have the Lifetime Learning credit. I clearly don't. How can I deal with this situation?

    If that's the only form I have (I didn't have any income in 2023 so no W-2), do I still need to file tax?

    If you didn't have any income in 2023, there is no filing requirement so you don't have to file a tax return.  

     

    The federal filing requirements depends on your filing status, your age, and your income.  Review the IRS website Fact Sheet Who needs to file a tax return for more information.
